The Deaths Of Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet
The deaths of Romeo + Juliet were ultimately caused by Juliet parents (Capulet and Lady Capulet); and Romeo parents Lord Montague and Lady Montague. Also, the teenagers themselves because they knew the consequences they made the choice to die and they shouldn't have rushed things. Friar Lawrence was also the cause of Romeo and Juliet death. He didn’t send the letter, Romeo is stating that Juliet had died. They knew the consequences between their parents would cause damage in Romeo and Juliet relationship. He chose to ask Juliet for her hand in marriage anyways. She should’ve been the bigger person and said “I would love to thou Romeo; but our families are enemies.” They both knew they were not supposed to be together. Juliet says she rather die than be a Montague. That sentence foreshadows the story.
