Do you think it is an good idea to make incoming freshmen commit to a career at a young age? Incoming freshmen are required to know what career they want to do. This is a good idea because when they come out of high school they won’t be confused on what career they want to pursue. Another way it is a good idea is they will be more focused in school because they are focused on trying to get to their career in order. I believe that committing to a career is a good idea because it could help young adults prepare for the work field. This is why I think incoming freshmen should commit to a career.…

Another advice that I could finally understand now that I am ending my fall semester in college is the one that you will always say everyday which was use all your resources. At first, I was confuse about what resources you meant, but as time pass by I started to understand what resources were you talking about. Some resources CSUN provides inside campus are math tutoring, the writing lab, and the library. Due to the lack of using the math tutoring lab I started to fail my math class because I would score really low in each test. Being able to experience this I was able to learn a lesson which was always to ask for help. As finals being right around the corner I been pushing myself in order to ask for help and understand math a little bit more…

In studying the shift in the Philippine academic calendar, it is essential to note that there are certain universities in the country that are considered autonomous from CHED regulation, meaning they can adopt the change without CHED’s express approval. The University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila, De La Salle University are just examples of educational institutions which belong to this category. Though such university may change their academic schedules without seeking CHED’s approval, they would have to advise CHED of their plans. Universities that are not autonomous will need a directive from CHED before they can adjust their academic calendars.…

Last day we the first year students have a special day which is the freshmen day, and for me it was fun and exciting. It is composed of nstp students in Monday class to Saturday and I belong to the Thursday group. I say that the day which is the freshmen day is fun because of the happenings that we encounter, like the beat boxers or the one who uses their voices to create mixed sounds and it was so fun to hear. The excitements are not just the beat boxers it is also the one marine engineering student who impersonates the voices of some well-known personalities and cartoon characters, it was very entertaining because he does not just copy their voices; he gives the crowd the perfect voices of them. The other things that I encounter are the different kinds of singer because when ceremony doesn’t have singing it is quite boring. I say different kinds of singer because the singers have different ways and on how the way they sing their song and on how they act in the song, some singer’s songs rock music, having a partner to blend the song and the solo singer. I also encounter one singer that impersonates also a known character in an animated movie and I think that the crowd enjoys her singing and she is the only one who have “standing ovation”.…
