The computer is a 20th century life saver and still is. This innovation changed the lives of people, businesses, and industries throughout the world. Computers have given us easy access to information and knowledge, and they have made countless jobs much faster and easier. The computer in its earliest form was not much more than a calculator, solving one problem at a time and answer every question in a click of a button. As the computer was improved various tasks could be performed and more data and information could be stored into the memory banks. Today's software makes computer use easy. Information can be shared and we can learn from each other in a quick, easy, and affordable manner. This would not be possible without electricity because it powers everything. You could not use the computer without electricity, work at night, heat your homes, couldn’t drive due to accidents without lights, and cannot use air condition. Without electricity it is almost impossible to live our daily lives. Now, we can work longer hours because we can see at night, use computers, watch TV, reduce accidents, and much more. The 20th century creations have really improved our lives and continues to help us achieve our goals and resources.. Things have changed so much that we can even repair these innovations if they were even to have problems, in the past the computer would have to be replaced and when power goes out they can be worked on. Computers and electricity were just many of the 20th century innovations, but in my opinion were the most effective and important.

This was to put down a draft text reflecting the agreements made by the Convention up to that, including the Virginia plan’s 15 resolutions. James Wilson was also the only member of the Pennsylvania state convention of 1787 to ratify the constitution who had served in the Philadelphia Convention. His colleagues selected him to be one out of six delegates who reported the final document for acceptance. James’s influence was most likely second of Madison, and only Gouverneur Morris gave more speeches than…

The contributions made in the Twentieth Century are often over-looked and taken for granted. Americans in particular have become somewhat spoiled with that is “just there.” What is forgotten and should often is; without the integrity and dedication within the creative minds of the Twentieth Century, the United States would be living as if it were still 1901 rather than 2012. Many individuals are responsible for the growth of this time. Two of the most influential, though each had a separate aspiration, are Martin Luther King and Bill Gates. Both men contributed a significant amount, and have gone down in history as individuals who changed the way the world worked personally, socially, and politically.…

Computers have become an electronic device used almost daily and used from individuals of every age. When someone is looking up a question that can’t be answered by themselves or anyone else around, who do you ask? Answering he/she question or oneself can only get easier by just accessing a computer. Having access to the computer will bring you access to the internet which has all the questions and information one might ask for. “Computers are used in education for a variety of purposes. Students benefit from using them as tools and resources for gathering information” (Barrus). This shows how technology itself has been proven to be worthy of aiding society over time. Computers have been a huge beneficial factor towards society advancing in education, health, and communication. And what brings this technology to life is society. “Society” the first thought that comes to mind when heard or seen, is a group of people within a community. Society itself is what brings technology to excel such as the computer. Within a society you’re going to have citizens (people) who make up the society. That being said there will be people out there who’s interested in innovation; new ideas and new inventions. “Businesses have been transformed as well, and computers are found in corporations, factories, doctor's offices, hotels, restaurants, schools, colleges, universities, retail and commercial enterprises; literally every concern in every country uses computers” (Barrus) this shows how widely computers are used. To be more specific, computers have beneficially advanced education, health and communications. It takes less time to proofread a written document ans also you do not need to open a dictionary to look for meanings of words. It is also used in military too, which is a complete change for air force etc. However, there are also some disadvantages of technology. Constantly using internet shrinks your capacity to think. The easy access to information has made students lazy in terms of their education since they are able to find and download information without researching. They also use computers for mathematical tables and calculations without actually solving the problems. When I look at the wired world I am living in, I am wondering how people used to live at the time when computers and the Internet were not invented. Now I see that computers are used in every aspect of life. They make our lives easier, but also makes us lazier than we used to be. I can reach anything via the Internet without going out of my home, but it makes me stay away from the social world. For instance, my mom recently started calling me on the phone to tell me something from the other room in the same house. Then I started doing to same thing to her, either calling or texting or IM…
