Example Of Peer Review Essay
WOOF. WOOF. It was August 8th, 2016. I asked my mom the day before, for the 100th time, if we could PLEASE get a puppy. She looked up some poodle mixes and we found some dogs with the breed name of Cavapoo. It was the 7th of August, and the puppies got released on the 8th of August. My mom called the breeder, and she said there would be none left if we came later in the week. In that moment, we all knew, that was the day to go!
At 3:00 pm the next day, we headed to play with the puppies in Mundelein, Illinois. The car was filled with my mom, brother, and myself. A hour and a half later, we showed up to a kind of unique looking neighborhood. We went inside, and when you opened the door there was a checkout counter to the right, doggy treat

It was pretty clear that she was bored of being in that corner so we brought her outside where she could be a little more free. When we got outside, it was the prettiest summer night with a breeze at our backs. Through teary eyes I watched the sun fall behind the horizon, painting the sky shades of red and pink. Our neighbors to the right of our house were outside, too. All of the them darted over as quickly as they could. Bella showed zero emotion when all the people were holding her. We tried to get her up and awake by throwing a tennis ball down the sidewalk a few times. She didn’t like that idea so we just sat in the grass. We thought she was the calmest dog because all she did was lay in the grass. We thought that we would have so much fun with her! I hope Bella is the only dog we get the pleasure to have because she deserves the title of a ‘man’s best friend’. She is loyal, intelligent, devoted and affectionate animal. She quickly learned how to do tricks and ring the bell to go outside. Bella is truly loved and foremost the best dog anyone could have. I will never forget the first time I saw Bella and the first time I held her in my arms. She is now part of the

The purpose of this report is to describe a peer-reviewed journal article that has been identified from a primary literature source. I chose to perform a search through Pubmed based on the enzyme Catalase, reasoning that it should deepen my understanding of the enzyme allocated to my BABS1201 laboratory group. In the end, I was unable to find any primary literature sources that would help with the assignment but I did find an article that I thought would be appropriate. The journal article I chose is titled Serum albumin alters the expression of iron-controlled genes in Pseudomonas aeruginosa from the peer-reviewed journal, Microbiology.…

Nonprofit organizations prepare grant proposals based on the eligibility requirements, and guidelines set forth by grantors to fund various programs. The key to winning grants is to ensure the proposal includes important information about the program goals and objectives, the organizational background, and community needs among other factors. When I was around four years old, we got our very first dog. I can remember driving to the breeders house. I was very excited to be getting a dog. When we got to their house, it was very small. My parents talked to the breeder for what felt like ages. We finally got to see all of the dogs that they had. The room that the puppies were in had a crib, and dog beds. I saw some very, very little puppys, I really wanted them all. The one that we chose, was hiding under the crib. We named him Poncho after the parent's name.…

On the corner of Willow drive sat a small store with washed out blue walls and broken shutters. The sign creaking softly in the wind spelt the words "Darla's Humane Society". Inside, the lights flicked on followed by a series of yaps and howls. Darla Windspow hustled to the counter and set a large box on top of it. She removed her sopping coat and hung it on the rack. Then, she grabbed the clipboard that she had set on the box and reviewed what was on it. At the top was listed a name, age, and breed along with some other various information. As she read further, she saw that this particular puppy had been rescued from an abusive home who would torment the young dog just for amusement. The last note at the bottom surprised her a bit as it said…
