everybody's fine movie
1. One of the main characters of the film is Frank Goode, is a father of four children. The four children are Robert, Amy, David, and Rosie.

2. Frank retired and his wife had been dead for six months. As he has a disease, he only can work in his garden. When he is preparing for his children to come visit him, his children call to cancel it one by one on the last minute. So, he decided to go on a surprise visit to his children without following the instructions of the doctor. Firstly, he went to visit his son, David in New York by train. Unfortunately, David was not at home. So, Frank just left a letter and continued his trip. Secondly, he visited his daughter Amy in Chicago by bus. Amy has a husband Jeff and a son Jack. Both of them are in a tension relationship. After that, Jeff went visiting his son Robert in Denvert. He found out that his son is just a percussionist but isn’t a conducter. While Jeff was on the way to visit his daughter Rosie in Las Vegas, he missed his bus in the midnight. So, he changed to go there by train. At that time, he met a drug addict and went into a quarrel. After visiting his daughter, he flied back home. In the plane, he got a heart attack and dreamt his kids as young children. He realized that all his children lie to him and something’s wrong on David.

3. To me, the most memorable scene in the film is when Jeff got heart attack in the plane. He realized that his children lied to him without telling the truth. They did not tell Jeff about what had happened on David. Amy and her husband’ relationship have been broke up. Besides that, Rosie already gave birth to a baby.

4. My favourite character of the film is Jeff’s wife, the children’ mom. Although she is dead, but I think that she has influenced her children the most. She knew that Jeff busy working to earn a living, so she took the responsibility in order to take care of her children. She also taught her children only speak the good and keep the bad as not make Jeff

My favorite scene is the flashing of signs to Alex that he must see Isabel. It is good to see how destiny shows that two people are just meant for each other. In this scene it was justified that many things are meant to happen. The scene had shown how fate links two people with different signs. Truly when destiny speaks, there’s nothing we can do but just to follow it in order for us not to regret in the end. The scene had catched my attention because of how the character of Alex tried to cease the chance in order to be with his lady love, Isabel.…

    2. To me the play meant a lot, because it showed the many dysfunctions of families, and consequences if they didn’t resolve them. And I know my family like all families have their problems, and it was funny to relate to the sister, and watch her forget things, because I am always forgetting things, also I play the cello so I guess I found it easier to connect to her because of that aspect. Also I sometimes end up being the voice of reason, when my family tends to get into it, and I am on the sidelines, so I found myself drawn to the son, as he narrated, and how neutral he was about everything, he was the only sane one. And my dad isn’t as bad as Boo or his father, but he likes to have a drink with dinner every night, so it is something that could happen if he drank more, but probably wont. I…

    Short Story Mystic River

This is a story about friendship, betrayal, and murder. The setting for the story is Boston, Massachusetts. Not the Boston of Cheers, MIT, or Charles River luxury apartments. The Boston where the story unfolds is called “the flats.” The river in which the story evolves is the Mystic River that flows through the flats. The river could tell many stories of human tragedy if only it could speak. It is a neighborhood of lower income, lower social-status white people, who live in tenement type apartments, just above the poverty social welfare level. The three main characters in the story are Jimmy, Dave, and Sean. They all grew up in the same neighborhood in which Jimmy and Dave still live. Subordinate characters, although not primary focus, are integral to the story. Brendan and Deaf Ray were two sons of “Just” Ray Harris, who had also lived in the neighborhood. Brendan, Deaf Ray, and their mother have continued to live in the neighborhood after the disappearance of “Just” Ray, husband and father. The focus of this tale is Jimmy and Brendan, although having grown up in the same…

Who ever thought a detention can bring so many experiences? During the Breakfast club, Andrew Clarke and Bryan Johnson have shown characteristics that are very similar to me. While John Bender has shown characteristics and personalities that are complete opposite to my personality.
