Essay On Alan's Greatest Accomplishments
For many recent graduates, high school graduation is the biggest accomplishment they are proud of. Some of them are relieved that they were able to get it over with. Except Alan, he was pretty neutral about the entire situation, he is not overjoyed about completing a task he knew he would accomplish. No, he is best pleased over the weaknesses he was able to overcome during his high school career. Throughout the story you can see, feel, hear, taste, and smell many stimulating factors that led to what Alan believes are his greatest accomplishments so far.
Beginning with his first years in high school, it is important to note that all his life Alan had been a shy child. He had always been terrified of asking the teacher if he could clarify the lesson during the lecture and even more fearful of collaborating with his peers. It has never been his brightest move considering he was never the sharpest kid and always required a little extra help

He believes it is the most important weakness he learned to master because he believes it is definitely helpful for college. There were times where Alan just had so much work and assignments to complete and he didn’t know where to start. There were times where he had mental breakdowns because all the stress would just get at him and he had no idea how to help himself. He felt like he had “bit off more than he could chew”. Luckily for him one of his teachers saw him struggling and showed him how to organize his schedule and now he always walks around with a journal all around.
Although Alan is delighted that he graduated he is much more proud the flaws he was able to turn into strengths because he believes that these are qualities that he will carry forever in higher education to become successful. And he is still probably looking for more obstacles to overcome to better
