Epilogue To Dante's Inferno
EEXT. DESERT - DAY
Nick, Lex and Steven emerge from the creek's exit. They spot the rural community in the distance.
INT. Dante's HOUSE - DAY
Small and cramped. Not really space for much more than what's in here already. A rusted-out oven, a refrigerator, a small dining table and a few storage cupboards. Only the bare essentials.
Anna staggers unsteadily back to her feet. Shuts the window closed. Her eyes dart around.
ANNA
He- Hello?- Is- Is anyone home?
Anna carefully paces around the room. Her breath heavy and shallow with anxiety.
Anna listens. No sound.

Dante'S HOUSE - CORRIDOR - DAY
A narrow dark corridor. Doors line up on either side, leading to a bathroom, the entrance hall, a laundry room, a child's bedroom and master bedroom.
Anna creeps through the corridor, searching every room she passes by. Starting with the bathroom, working her way deeper into the residence.
INT. Dante's house - girl's bedroom - day
A cosy little girl's pink bedroom. With dolls, toys and the walls coated with various, falling apart, boy band and animated movie posters.
Anna carefully steps in. She scans the room. It seems virtually untouched compared to the destruction and havoc wreaked outside.
She spots a hand drawn picture of three stick figures with the words: "Daddy", "Mommy" and "Me", written above each corresponding stick figure.
int. Dante's house - master bedroom - day
A slightly bigger bedroom then the last one. Windows line up on either side provide the only source of light.
Anna shuffles in. Sits on the bed. It groans and squeaks as it sinks down under her weight, molding to her body comfortably.
She bounces on the bed slightly, testing the its springs. She smiles as she scans the room. Her eyes fall onto a picture frame, resting on the bedside …show more content…
Anna's eyes move to the barely noticeable words: "Dante & Charlotte O'Brian", engraved neatly into the frame itself.
Anna stares at the picture. A smile. She sets the frame back down when the sound of the front door opening draws her attention.
INT. Dante's house - corridor - DAY
Anna creeps along the corridor. Her breathing hard and shallow. She hears shuffling of footsteps and sounds of objects begin moved coming from the kitchen ahead.
The noises get louder and louder as she approaches. Her eyes darting around wildly.
Suddenly, Anna takes cover behind a nearby doorway. She sighs. Listens: The noises are coming from inside.
After a few nerve wrecking seconds. Anna eventually peeks around the corner, into the room. Her eyes widen at the sight.
ANNA(CONT'D)
(to herself)
Dante...
INT. DANTE'S HOUSE - KITCHEN - continuous
