English 202a Reflection
In the beginning of the English 202A, I was excited that I had an opportunity to take this class with Duffy. In English 15, I learn a great deal about my writing skills such as my ability to be precise in my concept and A different approach to write an introduction. Prior to taking this course, I did not have a clear understanding of how doing APA format. As a writer, one of my biggest flaws is having grammar problems which I have improved on since taking English 15 with you. Reflecting back on my work was difficult for me due to the fact that I wasn’t sure how I should rank these essays. Also, this semester I suffered from reader’s block when writing Essay 2 and Essay 3.
One of my struggles in this course, was writing a causal argument about child sexual abuse and its effects it has on the male victims, the female victims and their families. It was difficult to read all these articles and not include my

I notice that the same struggle I faced in English 15 was the similar to what I encounter this semester. For instance, I knew what I want to convey to my reader but it was hard to find articles to support my topics. In my opinion, my best paper was the argument of definition paper titled “Decisions: Termination of Women’s Rights or Death of Potential Life?”. This essay is ranked number one because it was one of favorite topic to talk about. Abortion is a controversial topic that is viewed

Completing english 110 again is somewhat difficult, the last time that I sat in a class room learning how to write the perfect essay was 2000. I did not realize all the material that I had forgotten in that sixteen year period. I am happy that I enrolled in English 110, it did help improve my writing. I know my writing was weak initially, it has improved with this class but there is still along way to go for me to become a better writer, like my dad use to say “there is always room for improvement.” I did learn the proper structure for the narrative, descriptive and compare and contrast essays, along with developing a good thesis for those essays. One area that I saw improve, was the “verbs to avoid.” I did not realize how often I used…
