English 1101 Reflection
When it comes to writing papers, I usually have a difficult time getting started. I sometimes have trouble with certain topics, getting the general concept, and then turning it into a writing that will get my point across. I feel as if I’m not very creative with my words as I should be without sounding so scattered brained and lost. I was a little nervous when entering English 1102, after having such a difficult time in English 1101 online. At first I did feel at ease but once we got to doing research on a particular food and the articles, I did have some challenging moments. In in the end I did pull my works together and I plan on sharing some of my reflections while taking a look back on a couple of my papers.
Naturally the brainstorming comes after picking a topic that most suites my taste and interest. I take my scattered thoughts and ideas and puke them out onto paper. I try to somewhat take and categorize this vomit and then leave it alone for a couple of days to let it steep. After …show more content…
Even though I feel that not all comments are truthful, some are helpful to some extent. However, I mainly depend on the comments from Ms. Asselin because she does give helpful advice or ask questions about certain parts. This kind of feedback would have been helpful and greatly appreciated in English 1101. After that I would take this advice, apply it to my paper, finalize it and then submit it to paperrater.com just to check my punctuation and grammar. After making corrections, my paper is complete.
All in all I have really enjoyed doing the research papers and further learning how to piece an essay together. I now feel more comfortable with my work and feel as if I have learned how to research, narrow down information along with my ideas into paragraphs, and form a great thesis. Even though I was boggled down at times, it eventually came together piece by piece, ending with a decent
