Employment Opportunities For Minority Groups: Chapter Five Analysis
One method described in Chapter 5 that should be adapted would be targeting employment opportunities for minority groups. “Most African-American universities have websites that post resumes of new graduates” (Bernardin & Russell, 2013, page 169). The company would have the potential to hire an employee within a minority group that possesses the skills required to be successful at the position. A diverse workforce is valuable to any company, as it shows the company is not one sided. A diverse workforce also offers opinions and experience from many different backgrounds.
