Easton's Parable Analysis Paper
Intro:
In the project, there are four parts to present the subject of Jesus’ parable: Define the word parable, analyze Christ’s purpose in using parables, identify guidelines for interpreting parables, and apply the correct interpretation of the parable and apply it to personal culture. According to the order, the following in the first paragraph is the first part of the definition of the word parable.
A definition of the word parable:
"He began to teach them many things in parables." (Mark 4:2) Jesus used the material from everyday human life and connected with the spiritual truth to teach his disciples and the crowds who were willing to follow him (McClaflin 2013, 236). Parables is the most famous form associated with His teaching ministry. Don Schwager(2016) states that the parable of Jesus are simple word-pictures, images, and characters. These were taken from everyday life to create a small stage or drama to elaborate his teaching (under “What is a Parable?”).
In Easton's Bible Dictionary (2016), the definition of parable is a placing beside; a comparison; equivalent to the Heb, “mashal", a similitude (under "Parable - Easton's Bible Dictionary Online."). The Easton's Bible Dictionary also indicates that two-part of the parable

Now we can apply the guidelines to Jesus’ parable, “the sower”. Accordant with the first rule, knowing the truth of this parable stresses the mysteries of the Kingdom of God/heaven. The forward analysis conveyed the word of the kingdom and good ground the hears’ responds. In the context, Jesus already concluded the subject and meaning of the parable from His explanation for the disciples about the parable after His address to the multitude. In addition, we followed the second rule to look for the meaning that Christ himself supplied. We can see in Mark 4:13-20, Matthew 13:18-23, and Luke 8:11-15 where Christ stresses the word of God and hearers’

    These parables often were told to teach the listener a moral lesson. These parables are some of the most quoted and remembered stories in modern religion. Because of how his stories and characters would captivate the attention of his followers, he was able to educate them in a way they would enjoy and remember.     My first play through of The Stanley Parable was arguably the most horrifying scenario I could have ended up with. I started off in Stanley’s office and the narrator goaded me into exploring the rest of the workspace. Not a single coworker was in sight and as I entered each new space of the building, the narrator told me to go forward into another. By the time I reached the stairwell, this is where I decided to disobey the narrator. Instead of going upstairs to check out the boss’s office, I went downstairs out of sheer curiosity. I was led into a parking garage where there was a single car parked with its lights on. I did not possess the courage to walk up to the car and look into the window because I scare easily and going into this game without knowing anything about it, I was thoroughly convinced at this point that it would feature some pop-out/screamer element to it that I did not want to fall prey to. I avoided the car and walked into the adjacent room, wherein the narrator began describing Stanley’s thought process. He came to the realization that he was dreaming and started to command the dream, seeing a field of stars in front of him and feeling himself float. Then he became tired of dreaming and wanted to just wake up next to his wife, so he closed his eyes and the screen went black for me as Stanley willed himself to wake up for a lengthy yet calming period of time in darkness. The eyes opened back up and I was still in the same endlessly repeating set of rooms as I was in the entire time. The narrator said that Stanley began to scream over and over out of insanity and the edges of the screen reddened and finally went black.
