The experiment was initiated after Brian and David went for a routine circumcision that ended badly when Brian had received un fixable damage to his penis. Money had done had breached many ethical rules that are in place today. From the participants in the experiment had suffered a great deal of mental damage. While Dr money was a believer in the nature v nurture, the experiment was extremely unethical. Ethics are important because they protect people in experiments. Some way his experiment could be done in safer and less harmful manner is to not do it at all because make a boy believe he is a girl is ruining his life because that’s how he was born. Doing experiments relating to a persons sexuality and their gender are very difficult to do because of tough ethical guidelines.
