Dog Park Research Paper
I believe, building a dog park is a fantastic idea. Living in the city, many people don't have the room for there dogs to run around. Creating a safe enviroment for animals to roem and play. Would help with mental and physical energy. Making them calm around humans, animals, and other places. Even the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) states "dogs that dont get exercise can act out by barking and destorying things at home."

Not only would creating dog parks be benifitual to us. We would also help with owners obeying laws. If we had an enviroment for dogs, more owners wouldn't let there dogs off leash in an empty lot, city park, and parking lots. Many dogs could decide to explore, causing them to be ran over or dog napped. We would

    I wanted to thank you for allow me to sit in on the staff meeting. I had a few ideas about patrolling and helping keep the city parks safe. As you said the PD does not have the staffing to dedicate units to the park, but maybe we can help reduce crime and the fear of crime with no additional PD resources.
