Muscatine Case Study
Would a dog park funded by taxpayers money benefit the city of Muscatine? Many taxpaying residents would say it is a bad idea. Neighbors to such parks would probably disagree with building a dog park near their homes as well.
In my opinion I would have to disagree with building dog parks in Muscatine, Iowa. My main reason for disagreeing with building a park for dogs is my son is allergic to dogs. Some dog owners can be very irresponsible when it comes to cleaning up after their dogs poo on the grass. Why should the city fund a dog park with taxpayer money when that money can be used to build a recreational area for residents.
My second reason why I would disagree with building a dog park near home owners would cause a disturbance.
