Both Dodge and Ford are very competitive heavy duty trucks because Dodge and Ford are known for their durability. In their performance both Dodge Ram 2500 and the ford F-250 are true sport cars. While handling each heavy duty truck each has similar-sized engines, with a slight advantage to the Dodge. Dodge Ram 2500 is not much more powerful than the Ford due to the fact that the Ford has more torque than the Dodge. The torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly. Ford F-250 has a more massive trunk that will accommodate more massive things than the Dodge Ram 2500. Neither Dodge Ram 2500 nor the Ford F-250 has a marked advantage regarding seating capacity. Between the Dodge ram2500 and the ford f-250 there is no clear winner when it comes to hauling capacity. Towing is significantly more the Dodge Ram 2500’s forte than it is the F-250’s.
