Nowadays it is increasingly harder for companies to reach their potential customers and in recent years the direct sales and product promotion method is gaining popularity among the companies, thus it is important to know what factors affect the company's direct sales organization for direct selling business function to be successful. The bachelor thesis is based on the analysis of the theory by studying the organization of direct sales in company SIA "Bite Latvija", research seeks proposals for direct sales organization within the enterprise. Undergraduate work in the theoretical part deals with the essence of direct marketing, staff organization and the sales process. While the practical part describes the company SIA "Bite Latvija" and its relationship with the direct sales, evaluates employment of direct sales and provides proposals for development of direct sales organization. Direct sales business function was analyzed by interviewing SIA "Bite Latvija" specialist of public relations and through survey of direct sales agents, which includes 17 questions. Thus, general information on how direct sales method is applied in company and employee views on their duties was obtained. As well as identified the main problems of direct sales organization in the company. Direct sales organization in SIA "Bite Latvija" is successful and constantly improving, as evident in employee survey results, where 84% of direct sales agents are satisfied with their job-specifics. However, the survey results point to some problems: lack of direct sales agents, small direct sales territory and the deficiencies of the company's internal communications. Consequently, the conclusions were made and suggestions were proposed for improvement of direct sales and direct sales agents performance in SIA "Bite Latvija".
