Technology has paved the way to a new and exciting life. Since technology has become such a major part of our modern day lives, there is much speculation on how fast we are actually accruing new technologies. According to Moore 's Law, we double our technology every two years. This number has actually been updated to 18 months recently, and we can only expect that new to become smaller and smaller. (Greene, para. 1-6, 2011) In other words, we are learning more than ever! Out with the old, and in with the new. In many cases, technology moving forward makes for 'smaller ' phones and computers, features go up, and our technological tools in the world become more involved. This is especially true in the world of business. Technology helps businesses to better reach their customers, organize records, and to establish an online presence. (Swanson, para. 5-11, 2012)…

The world has become dependent on technology, computers, internet, video games etc In the PBS documentary Digital Nation by Douglas Rushkoff states that multitasking is one of the biggest problems children face today, many believe it is an attribute to learn but studies say it is less effective than focusing on an assignment one a time, people who multitask tend to take longer and make more mistakes. Working without distractions will help you get work done faster and better. Digital multitasking strains attention spans, technology makes it more difficult for children to learn. The documentary states that technology is bringing families farther apart , now instead of being at home with family you can now view and watch on your IPOD or cell phone. The video addiction in south Korea has become an issue for the children, it is seen as a health disorder and they have created internet rescue camps, video game addiction is equal or worst to a disease like alcoholism research of constant video game playing can shrink your capacity to think correctly, I myself believe multitasking is a big distraction, whenever I have to study or write a assignment or completing a task. The real world isn't either analog or digital, but both. Analog and digital signals are mathematical representations of reality and is useful when we want to process information. We can recognize whether or not something is analog or digital by wave forms. Digital signals often show square shapes and analog shows no obvious pattern but sometimes shows a recognizable shape like a sine wave. Because of this, we can sometimes form an opinion about the type of signal by recognizing wave forms. There is no absolute certainty, by just examining a real signal pattern and whether or not it carries information in either digital or analog form. However, we use voltage patterns or currents to carry information in many ways, but the terms ‘digital’ or ‘analog’ really refer to the way we process information, not some inherent property of the voltage or current itself. Any real signals will have both analog and digital characteristics.…

Data Digitization or document digitizing is the process by which physical or manual records such as text, images, video, and audio are converted into digital formats. This is of vital significance when projects need directions based on already established facilities and the implementing agency needs to find the scope for expansion. Data Digitization is essential, but it is definitely not the core activity of most organizations that require it. Offshore Outsourcing such data Digitization activities enables a company to concentrate on its core activities while the experts can handle the conversion work efficiently, ensuring quality results. The company saves time, effort and money on a process that would otherwise be too tedious if performed in house.…

In the article “Japanese and Obentos,” Allison mentions many external sources, through ISA, that effect our lives. The growth of this age has sped up technological information, granted the world access to any type of source, and with a limited amount of regulation has become a danger to society. Today our communications have become shorter and more frequent, since people increasingly value the quick hits that allow them to glean important information and then quickly move on. “Hidden in the movies that we watch, the music we hear, the liquor we drink, the textbooks we read, it is overlooked because it is protected and its protection—or its alibi (Barthes 1957: 109-111)---allows the terms and relations of ideology to spill into and infiltrate our everyday lives” (Barthes.qtd.in Allison 223). However, Allison does not mention that the recent shift from the Industrial Revolution to the growth of the digital age has caused an information overload. This overload does not permit us with efficient time to digest the information we receive.…
