Differences And Similarities Between Knights And Samurai
Knights and samurai are much more similar than we think. They have many similarities such as they are loyal to their ruler, follow an ethical code, and defend the innocent. This makes them both very similar to each other.
Knights and samurai both have a strict ethical code that guides what they do in life and on the battlefield. The knights have chivalry and the samurai have the bushido. In the code of chivalry, the knights must be loyal to the king, do good, and protect the people. In bushido, the samurai must be loyal to their associates, practice the Way, and protect others. So they both have some similarities.
Knights and samurai also defend the people. The samurai will try to kill invaders without hurting the innocent. The knights, unfortunately, they will do whatever it takes to kill the invader and this may mean to harm the innocent. But it still is better than not being defended at all.
