Diesel Mechanic Career
I think being diesel mechanic will be a great job opportunity for me. I will have to go to college and get certified to be a good diesel mechanic and make sure I learn everything I need to know before I go off on my own. I’ll start off by working in a shop for somebody and then eventually go off and open up my own shop and be my own boss. I’m ready to get my hands dirty and get ready for my great upcoming career. Diesel mechanics can inspect, keep up to date on everything, and repair diesel engines for a truck dealerships, and private garages and repair shops.

I will probably go to TSTC they have a great diesel mechanics program where it’s not all classroom work its all hands on projects. Due to the hands-on nature of the job online diesel mechanic training programs are very rare, however online courses are available on a very limited basis. Some schools provide a hybrid format which requires students to complete a portion of their coursework on-campus or at a work location. That works the best for me I am a hands on kina guy that’s where I learn the best from. I researched TSTC and they do all kinds of projects like rebuilding the engines, tearing them down and putting piece and piece back together again. But, the salary for someone with the title Diesel Mechanic may vary dependent on a number of factors including industry, company size, location, years of experience and level of education.
