Did We Get Here, Creation Or Evolution?
In this day in age, people ask themselves how did we get here, creation or evolution? The creation account comes from the book of Genesis in the Bible. Creation states that the universe was created by a Powerful God who does not have a beginning or end, and, “… that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” (Hebrews 11:3). In contrast, evolution is the theory of how the universe came to be and it excludes a Creator. This theory was formulated many centuries ago prominently by Charles Darwin. Evolution states that the universe was created 13.8 billion years ago and that it evolved from matter and continues to evolve. However, if you compare creation with evolution, man will note that evolution has many fallacies. The theory of evolution is illogical. How can things that are intensely intricate and perfectly designed come from a random big explosion? One can see by the laws of physics that the way the universe operates is very complex. For instance, the earth is tilted at 23.5 degrees, but if the earth were tilted by an infinitesimal amount of degrees off, the earth would utterly freeze of burn. Moreover, it is irrational that humans came from or evolved from monkeys, because monkeys are …show more content…
With evolution, humanity does not have a purpose of existing. Why? Because everyone came by chance, so man just needs to live and try to find his own destiny. On the contrary, the Creation account of the world tells us that God created us for His Glory and to have dominion over the earth. When we see the creation of the universe in a Creationist’s point of view, it demonstrates a loving God Who cares about his creation. The Bible says in Colossians 1:16, “ For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for

Both are taught in schools, but public schools will not teach creation for being a religion. Public schools will teach evolution; because, they see it as a science. Evolution says that life comes from time, chance, and natural processes; whereas in Creation, life comes from God the Creator. Evolutionists will say that there is no God and say that only evolution is fact. People who “research” evolution could not have known that life formed over billions of years; because, they were not there to observe any of it. The only one to have observed all life from its beginning is God. Evolution is a religion; because, it requires a belief in it.…

The opening statement of the book from which Christians formulate their worldview says it all “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Gen 1:1). Paul reiterates this perspective numerous times in the first half of Romans. God shows Himself through His creation, as eloquently stated in Romans 1:20, “giving men no excuse” to deny His hand in everything. Romans 4:17 revisits the divine creation of the natural world “round[ing] out our understanding of the biblical view on creation’…

One of the main scientific theories that opposes Creation story’s is Evolution a theory that was discovered by Charles Darwin. It shows that living things evolve and adapt to their environment over millions of years so that they can survive. This strongly opposes Creation story's as Most creation story’s depict god making everything whilst Darwin shows us evolving from apes.…

Aquinas and Paley both argue that nature is too complex and orderly and has in-built goals- which are inexplicable. They infer that there must be an intelligent designer- God. But thanks to Darwin, evolution provides an alternative explanation for the ordered, complexity and purpose of our world and the universe. There is a perfectly explicable natural process at work, which clearly explains the complexity, variety and apparent design of the living world. If taking Darwin’s theory, plants and animals have evolved step by step without the need for a designer. Neither purpose nor design is implicit in…

Some evolutionists advance one of several theories known as "theistic evolution." One variation of this theory states that God is the "Creator" of the universe in that He guided its evolutionary process. This idea, too, fails to measure up to the evidence. If evolution of any form were true, then the fossil record would show millions of transitional forms in every layer of geological stratum. However, no such transitional form has ever been found. This lack of scientific and paleontological evidence lends support to my conclusion that Creation is the only logical model for how the universe came into being. Suffice it to say, I believe what the Bible says about Creation is the absolute truth.…

The history of evolution dates back in the 16th century during the pre-Socratic Greek philosophers who thought that all natural things both dead and living as being imperfect fixed natural possibilities and had an intended role within the environment. The greatest breakthrough in this understanding came with the theory of natural selection mechanism which was formulated by Charles Darwin. In the 19th century, modern evolution synthesis merged the understanding…

The Natural Evolution is when people believe that God didn’t create the universe at all and that it all happened through a big bang. They strongly believe in evolution with no help from God at all. It was all created naturally. This is the origin that I am most in opposition with. Another belief is Young Earth Creation which is the belief that the world was created by God in a short 6 days but, that doesn’t really work with science at all. They put Gods work before everything else and that could have worked because they need to bring in the influence of science and faith. At the same time, you can’t hang the life and death of Jesus Christ on how old the earth is. Moving on, Intelligent Design is the belief that there is science that proves the existence of a creator. They look to science for explanations on everything, I believe that they need to have some of the Bible into it. They don’t really say about God being the creator so I can’t go along with this assumption of how everything was created. Finally, looking more closely at scripture is where people could work because it involves a lot of looking at the Bible. But then again, they need to look more into science because they can’t completely rule out the evidence of science. Other people have their own way of believing in science and faith but these ones are the main…

Comparing Creationism and Evolution is comparing two completely different subjects. Creationism is a way to explain the origin of life via a historically record kept over thousands of years known as the bible. Evolution is believed to have merged via Charles Darwin’s evolutionary theory On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection that suggests all species are interconnected through natural selection, but does not consider that the similarities between species are not a result of evolution but the result of an all-powerful creator, God. The theory behind Creationism is that all animals and humans were created within a 6-day period by an intelligent designer. The main argument placed against Creationism is that it as a religion and…

Those who believe in evolution contend that their view is the result of scientifically verifiable non-biased information. Those who believe in creationism contend that the Christian Bible is a book written through divine inspiration and therefore, whatever is written in the Bible is the ultimate authority. Basically the evolutionists believe they are correct because their information can be proven scientifically, while the creationists believe that their information is from an infallible source that is more certain than the evolutionists’ scientific data.…
