INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study

Entering in the business world is a big responsibility. You don’t know what would be the result, you just hold onto it and taking risk. What is Business? Is business a factory? a store? an office? Or is it more than these? According to the book of General Business by Ernest H. Crabbe and Paul L. Salsgiver. When we think of business we are likely to have in mind a particular building where goods are made, or where goods and services are sold. But business is more than a building. It is the activity of people whose work supplies the goods or services we want that we call business. To provide things we want, people operate stores, factories, electric power plants, railroads, mines and many other business. Every person in this country who is working in some worthwhile job, from the newsboy to the highest-paid executive, is playing his part in business Business Organization it is a group or a unit of people working together with a common objective of profit maximization and at same time satisfaction of human needs and wants by producing goods and services. Management is “the art of getting things done through people.” Getting things done. Thus, managers are task oriented, achievement oriented, and people oriented. And
