Determinants of Health
Many factors combine together to affect the health of individuals and communities. Whether people are healthy or not, is determined by their circumstances and environment. Factors such as where we live, the state of our environment, genetics, our income and education level, and our relationships with friends and family all have considerable impacts on health

HOW JUNK FOOD INFLUENCE OUR LIFE * JUNK FOOD is a slang term for food that is low in nutritional value, often highly processed or ready-prepared, and eaten instead of or in addition to well-balanced meals * List of junk food: fried food, chips, fast food, ham, sausage, candy,chuy gum, chocolate, soft drinks and other types of drink.

Junk food contains to much sugar or to much salt which can negatively affect our health in short or long term
These are the long term and short term effects of junk food: * Lack of energy This is known as a short-term adverse effect resulting from eating junk foods. Choosing a junk food diet high in fat may affect our energy levels in as little as one week as junk foods do not provide us with the essential nutrients that our body need and even if we feel that we had enough, we feel weak after a wile. * Poor concentration: This is another result of junk food habit. These are traced to affect in immediate and medium term periods. When we have a sumptuous junk meal rich in oil we feel sleepy and fail to concentrate. Over sustained periods of junk food eating, blood circulation drops due to fat accumulation. Lack of vital oxygen, nutrients and proteins particularly can stale our brain cells temporarily. * Heart Diseases: Junk food diet is a major cause of heart diseases. Myocardial infarction (a sever heart failure) is due to plaque formation in arteries which demands heart to put in extra effort to pump blood on the down stream. On the up stream, there is lack of returning blood to heart. This causes two damages to heart - heart
