Describe the sources and methods used to search for and define target market B2C.
Following are the methods to promote marketing strategies for target market B2C
By applying common methods like questionnaires, interviews in target market to find out how customers think about their products or what exactly they want
By gathering data about customer’s presence on social media and other online marketing strategies.
Analysis of this data through statistical methods and using software.
By forecasting future needs and wants of potential customers in target market.
Repeated advertisement about product or service is key component to promote B2C to build brand awareness among the the customers.
Events should be created in order to develop brand loyalty and security to customers. It also make customers feel they are part of the “Family”
Direct marketing can be applied to B2C as final decision maker is potential customer only as contract to B2B where ultimate decision maker is unknown
Social media is another important tool to create brand loyalty for customers. Brand loyalty is very important for customer as it make them coming back to same brand. Social media ensures communication between B and C of B2C which is very important to create trust and loyalty between them.
A good website with excellent description about product or services can attract customers
Personal recommendation, in another words “Word of Mouth” is one of the most influential marketing strategy in B2C.
Affiliate marketing which again build up trust to customers as your brand is affiliated with another brand which has already strong presence in the market.
Last but not the least, establishment of Public Relations (PR) to avoid “Customer remorse” after customer have spent with you. Good PR relations generates positive feelings for the products that can be reinforced in the better way that was appearing impartial earlier.

    Most B2B companies are committed to building a strong brand. Open any quarterly report, article, or press release and it’s there: “Building a strong brand is at the core of what we want to do. A strong brand will enable us to drive customer adoption and acceptance in the market.” The confidence in the power of a strong brand has compelled B2B executives to invest large amounts of capital in advertising, PR, direct sales, and other “brand building” functions. For instance, IBM, Ariba, and i2 recently committed $60 million to fund a massive PR and advertising effort designed to promote their ecommerce partnership. In August, 3Com announced plans to spend $100 million on an advertising campaign. Much of the effort will focus on emphasizing 3Com’s "focus on delivering functionally rich yet radically simple network solutions for businesses".
