TRANSLATION: Translation is the process of which RNA helps in the making of Protein, Translation is located in the Cytoplasm, and DNA is not involved in Translation, the ending result of Translation is the production Amino Acids, in Translation, tRNA and Ribosomes work together to make Proteins, Translation is when mRNA connects with tRNA but the Amino Acids information code is the 3 nucleotides bases in the mRNA code, the nucleotides that are in tRNA are Adenine, Uracil, Cytosine, Guanine, those 4 nucleotides never change, The mRNA and the tRNA connect together to make a new double helix strand.…
RNA is a script for the protein production process because they set the RNA up to translate into a protein.…

Biochemistry, GRT1 Task 2 Essential Amino Acid Valine A1: 2 Characteristics of Valine • Valine is a nonpolar amino acid, with many carbons surrounded by hydrogen. Valine is unable to interact with water molecules, making it HYDROPHOBIC (MSDS, 2005). • Flammability- Valine is combustible at high temperatures. These products are carbon oxides and nitrogen oxides.…
The Death Cap Mushroom scientific name is the Amanita phallodes. When it is ingested, it causes a deadly reaction in the human body. The major toxin mechanism is the inhibition of RNA polymerase II in DNA reproduction. The reason this becomes deadly is that this is a vital enzyme in the synthesis of the messenger RNA and without it, protein synthesis cannot happen and new cell production ceases. (Karlson-Stiber C, Persson, H (2003). When the human body is no longer able to recreate the template for new cell reproduction, the old cells die and new ones can no longer be reproduced and this quickly causes system failure in the body and the organs begin to fail rapidly. Due to the onset of symptoms taking between 12 and 30 hours to be visible, the damage has already taken place and is irreparable and can quickly lead to death.…
6. Describe the steps of protein synthesis, beginning with the attachment of a messenger RNA molecule to the small subunit of a ribosome and ending generalized with the release of the polypeptide from the ribosome. Include in your answer a discussion of how the different types of RNA function in this process.…
The mRNA encodes the amino acid sequence of a protein. During the translation, ribosomal RNA combines with other proteins to form a ribosome which amino acids are transported to the ribosome. The combination of mRNA and tRNA converts the mRNA into the amino acid sequence of the protein.…
The stalk is shaped like a cylinder and it is of a creamy beige color. The texture of the stalk is soft and smooth; however the composition of the stalk is arranged in lines. The cap is shaped like a dome and the bottom of the dome is flat. The area where the stalk and the cap combine is indented all around. The cap is also of a creamy beige color and the texture is soft and the composition of the cap is arranged in different layers that one can peel. The cap appears smooth. The gills are layers under the cap and it is of a pinkish brown color with lines separating each gill. The texture of the gill is soft and it appears to be ruffled and arranged in lines.…
Japanese-Canadians following post World War II suffered through the continued effects of the interment camps and were victims of racism. Hiromi Goto’s use of different form and structure throughout her book “Chorus of Mushrooms” emphasizes multicultural differences and applies deeper meaning to the context. Form is used to exemplify important parts of the story by bringing the focus into them. The author uses the bolded words “Mukashi, mukashi, omukashi” (Goto 18) before everyone of Obachans (Naoe) stories, in Japan this saying is used at the beginning of stories and means in ancient times, in ancient times, in very ancient times. By bolding these words the author highlight its importance in the beginning and continued repetition enforces…

Studying DNA can be extremely tedious and overwhelming. When Francis Crick and James Watson introduced the double helix, it was easy, for scientist, to comprehend the system, but it was rather difficult to understand how the DNA genes made proteins, which is the vital part. To fully grasp this concept scientist had to not only examine DNA, but they had to study RNA as well. The dispute, however, with DNA is that it actually is an elaborate and intricate code where these codes conceal its instructions.…

The focus point in Sylvia Plath's "Mushrooms" has to do with the Women Rights movement. Though reading the poem one would think it would simply be about mushrooms but Plath has incorporated poetic elements such as speaker, setting and situation, diction and tone as well as imagery. Plath uses mushrooms to represent women sprouting out of no where, as mushrooms do, and fight for Women Rights. By using diction and tone as well as five syllables a line to stress certain words it is clear what her message was; there is no stopping women as they multiple overnight.…
