I totally disagree with the whole idea of Daylight saving. It was introduced to Canada about 100 years ago ago and it is now being continues as an eight month ritual. This whole idea was introduced to Canada during the World War I to save coal as it was useful in the wars. Till now the whole point of this idea is to conserve and save energy but in fact we are actually wasting energy. Studies by the U.S. National Bureau of Economic Research have proven that despite its intended purpose, it is wasting energy that is meant to be saved! Losing one hour of sleep is really a huge thing for many people. It makes us less productive and worse still, productivity is unaffected when we are given an extra hour sleep several months later.
