David Klosterman Why Do People Talk
In life, one of the actions that people mostly use is communicating. It is known as the everyday norm. Whether it is saying hello to the mailman, talking to our boss regarding the next project assignment, our spouse about where our next romantic date night will be, it is something that we do without on a daily without hesitation. Without communicating, people will not able to stay connected and understand each other.

In Something Instead Of Nothing, the author expresses that besides advertising himself, he does not know why he needs to answer interview questions. "When asked a direct question, it's human nature to respond. This, I suppose, is the most likely explanation." (Klosterman, 3) and “Why do people talk” (Klosterman, 4). To me, we talk simply to

Communication is imperative to be able to understand one another; to be able to get our points across. We are all human, naturally built to have feelings and emotional needs. Whether we want to or decide to rebel and fight the feeling, everyone needs someone to understand them. It doesn’t have to be a specific person. it could be a family member, a friend, a mentor, or significant other. We need another human outlet to express ourselves; To share thoughts and ideas with, to laugh, and to understand one another. Otherwise, I believe a lone person without human contact would go a little crazy. In addition, we talk to form relationships. Relationships could vary from boyfriend and girlfriend, to friendship, family members, or even colleagues. In my case, I share this connection with my girlfriend. Four years ago, we first met each other by attending the same high school. From the first sight, I was stunned by her graceful manner and her sly cuteness. I knew then that I really wanted to be her boyfriend, but I was too painfully shy to open up so I kept this thought to myself. It wasn’t until the beginning of senior year that I
