Dale Earnhardt: The Dayton 500 Worst Crash
Dayton 500 worst Crash

Dale Earnhardt was a great nascar driver, he won many titles for winning all of his races. He has a quote that i think is very inspirational it is “ you win some, lose some, and wreck some. Second place is just the first place loser. You can’t let one bad moment spoil a bunch of good ones.” Dale Earnhardt was 49 years old when he was in his crash and pasted away. He was traveling 180 mph when his car was hit from behind, turned around and smashed his front end of his rascar into the big thick concrete wall. He was on his last lap to victory. He was cut free from his car and air flown to halifax Medical Center with his son Dale, Jr. by his side. He was pronounced dead at his arrival to the hospital. He was found in this car unconscious and

The next year saw Earnhardt's best results yet, as he won 11 races and a third championship title, finishing in the top five in 21 out of 29 races. Dale was loved by all nascar fans even if there favorite driver wasn't him they still loved him. He was known as the “the man in black” he was a man of honor and never let anyone tell him different he stood up for what he wanted just like he did with racing, everyone told him he was to young and he would get hurt but, dale didn't listen he wanted to do what he wanted and loved to do which was to race and be a mechanic. Even though he passed away about 15 years ago everyone still misses dale he was a fantastic driver and parent to his four kids. As for me being a huge race fan it’s still not the same with out dale racing in the nascar racing industry. Dale was my favorite driver and he always will be, i remember it like it was yesterday when i got to meet him in person and got to ride with him after his race he really inspired me and now that he is gone if i ever go to another race again i will not be able to ride in another race car. Most people think i am over exaggerating but meet dale changed my life he made me realize how fast

In the movie Talladega Nights, Ricky Bobby who is played by Will Ferrell, has dreams of being a NASCAR driver someday and winning races and winning the championship. He starts out as part of the pit-crew for a mediocre driver at best, just waiting for his chance to live out his dream. One race, the driver of the car he works for is not doing a very good job on the course and so they pull him out and Ricky is the first one to raise his hand for a chance at driving the car the rest of the way. So this shows something about Ricky’s personality, confident, always-win mentality and the chance to do what his dad gave up on at an early age is what motivates Ricky. In the first race he makes a huge impact and is the starter for the next race and so on. In the next string of races Ricky goes on a winning streak and gets a ton of sponsorship deals and is living out his dream, with his sidekick and childhood best friend Cal Naughton Jr. who comes in second in almost every race Bobby wins. Later on in the movie, Bobby’s beliefs on how he does things will ruin the friendship and make things a lot harder on Bobby. I believe that Ricky Bobby is driven by intrinsic motivation because he has knowledge of the sport and is gaining new knowledge, when he is in the car he has great stimulation while doing it and he is doing it all for the accomplishment and being the best he can be and living out his dream.…

Crash, the main character of Jerry Spinelli’s book Crash, has a very negative relationship with his parents causing him to think and act differently than others his age. During Crash’s football game he doesn’t want to go out because he wants his parents to be able to see him play when/if they do come: “I glanced at the stands. ‘You can't take me out. I’m just getting warmed up.’”(Spinelli 64) As you can see, Crash really wants to impress his parents, but they are never around to see him do well at football or anything else. This makes Crash want to be the best at everything all the time. Constantly wanting to be the best makes Crash seem very self-centered when, really, all that he wants is to make his parents proud. Before Crash’s…

By the end of the film Tucker produced 51 vehicles, but was facing bankruptcy, mail fraud charges and prison time for securities fraud. Tucker might have been able to revolutionize the automobile industry, but he became a victim of fear, self-interest and competition from the big three automobile companies who at the time could not keep up with the Tucker’s innovation. A good quote from the movie is when Tucker tells Abe (after his company was been destroyed), “Those are just machinery! It’s the idea that counts Abe…and the dream”. Tucker went on to make and lose several other fortunes in his lifetime. When his life ended he was trying to raise money to start another company in Brazil. This is an example of true entrepreneurial spirit. Nothing seems to shake the faith in…

15 years back when I decided to be a car racer, I was an embarrassingly slow driver with poor driving skills. But proper driving school trainings and hard work made my career. I still remember that I got the chance of taking part in a three day race driving class at the Bridgestone racing school. Drivers from all around the world took part in that race. Every driver was experienced and skilled at the high end racing except me! The race ended and obviously my name was not in the winner lists. But my zeal in this career made me a car racer. But I was not a looser. During my sports career I had won many championships. Most memorable day of my career till now is when I won a Radical Middle East Cup. What a day it was! That day I realized that hard work certainly pays off and nothing is…

I know that he is probably no ones role model anymore, but he's still on of mine. I always admired him growing up before the scandal. The way he carries himself on the course even during a bad round was really cool to see. It was really tough to see a man I looked up to so much go through what he did, but it is astonishing how he could come back and still play on the tour. I am not condoning what he did, but it takes a lot to come back and go into the public eye again like he did. After the incident, it made me look up to him more in the sense that he persevered through the press and negativity and still continues to play golf on tour. He still has a long way to go, but it is great to see that he is persevering.…
