The Art Of Car Racing Essay
Basic car racing techniques by Richard Ardolino:
Racing is not about driving a prestigious car or participating in the showmanship, but the true value of car racing depends upon the time you have spent in polishing your driving skills. The objective of my article is to guide you and tell you about the basic but crucial driving techniques used in car racing. No matter how much road- hot rodding you may have done or how expert a driver you think you are, driving on the race track is entirely different. Many writers have written articles on good driving skills, but I wanted to write for those who don’t know how to drive properly. 5) Join a Proper driving school because “Practice makes a man perfect”. Before racing always examine your car both internally and externally (tire pressure, brake fluids etc. Track examination before racing is really very important for a racer. So that he could know about the turns and the steepness of the track. When taking a part in racing one should be aware of braking techniques (How you are going to manage breaks while turning) 15 years back when I decided to be a car racer, I was an embarrassingly slow driver with poor driving skills. But proper driving school trainings and hard work made my career. I still remember that I got the chance of taking part in a three day race driving class at the Bridgestone racing school. Drivers from all around the world took part in that race. Every driver was experienced and skilled at the high end racing except me! The race ended and obviously my name was not in the winner lists. But my zeal in this career made me a car racer. But I was not a looser. During my sports career I had won many championships. Most memorable day of my career till now is when I won a Radical Middle East Cup. What a day it was! That day I realized that hard work certainly pays off and nothing is
