Parte I a) La creatividad en su génesis epistemológica
La creatividad ha existido desde siempre, es una habilidad del ser humano y, por lo tanto, vinculada a su propia naturaleza. Sin embargo, por mucho tiempo, la creatividad como concepto fue un tema no abordado y por lo mismo poco estudiado, es hasta años recientes donde surgen teóricos que se abocan a profundizar sobre el tema y se desarrollan trabajos y aportaciones alusivas a este concepto.
'Creatividad', es una palabra que se encuentra categorizada como un neologismo inglés común, sin embargo, este concepto no se consideraba incluido dentro de los diccionarios franceses usuales y de igual manera, tampoco aparecía en el Diccionario de la Real Academia de la Lengua Española (1970), tal como el concepto que ahora se maneja como: 'creatividad'. Fue hasta versiones más actuales cuando se dio su inclusión tanto en éste como en otros diccionarios. Así en la edición de (1992 pp. 593), que este diccionario la define como: “facultad de crear, capacidad de creación”.
En cuanto a la disciplina psicológica se refiere, debido a su desconocimiento como término en sí, no se había abordado dentro de los conceptos fundamentales de estudio en esta ciencia y en sus inicios, de hecho, se entendía como: invención, ingenio, talento, etc. Sin embargo, en las últimas décadas ha ganado el interés como área de estudio, especialmente en el ámbito educativo, realizándose inclusive investigaciones referentes a esta expresión. Es importante señalar que como ciencia de la creatividad, la psicología no tiene hoy por hoy respuestas definitivas en cuanto al concepto.
