A Pizza the Size of the Sun
by Jack Prelutsky
I’m making a pizza the size of the sun,
a pizza that’s sure to weigh more than a ton,
a pizza too massive to pick up and toss,
a pizza resplendent with oceans of sauce.
I’m topping my pizza with mountains of cheese,
with acres of peppers, pimentos, and peas,
with mushrooms, tomatoes, and sausage galore,
with every last olive they had at the store.
My pizza is sure to be one of a kind,
my pizza will leave other pizzas behind,
my pizza will be a delectable treat
that all who love pizza are welcome to eat.
The oven is hot, I believe it will take
a year and a half for my pizza to bake.
I hardly can wait till my pizza is done,
my wonderful pizza the size of the sun.

Where the side walk ends By Shel silverstein
There is a place where the sidewalk ends
And before the street begins,
And there the grass grows soft and white,
And there the sun burns crimson bright,
And there the moon-bird rests from his flight
To cool in the peppermint wind.

Let us leave this place where the smoke blows black
And the dark street winds and bends.
Past the pits where the asphalt flowers grow
We shall walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And watch where the chalk-white arrows go
To the place where the sidewalk ends.

Yes we'll walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And we'll go where the chalk-white arrows go,
For the children, they mark, and the children, they know
The place where the sidewalk ends.

The Dragons Are Singing Tonight Tonight is the night all the dragons Awake in their lairs underground,

To sing in cacophonous chorus

And fill the whole world with their sound. They sing of the days of their glory,

They sing of their exploits of old,

Of maidens and Knights, and of fiery fights, And guarding vast caches gold.

Some of their voices are treble,

And some of their voices are deep,

But all of their voices are thunderous,

And no one can get any sleep.

I lie in my bed

Our pizza came out looking like a soggy, colorless, depressing piece of bread. The bread of the pizza was so soggy, it seemed as if the pizza was drenched in water which did not help the taste of the pizza at all. All the condiments and toppings on the pizza looked so dull, as if they came out of a refrigerated container, none of the vegetables were fresh and the tomato sauce did not even taste like tomatoes! My children kept on complaining how bad the pizza was and saying, “we should have went to Dominos!” I completely agree with them. The pizzas at Domino's are voluptuous, juicy, and delicious. They use all natural vegetables and meats making the pizza healthy and tasty with high quality bread for the crust. Their pizza compared to this depressing “thing” proves how much better their company is and how much they actually care about their…

Pizza is oven-baked flat bread usually topped with tomato sauce, cheese and various toppings. The modern pizza was invented in Naples, Italy, and the dish has since become popular in many parts of the world. Pizza can be baked in an oven with stone bricks above the heat source, an electric deck oven, a conveyor belt oven or, in the case of more expensive restaurants, a wood- or coal-fired brick oven. On deck ovens, pizza can be slid into the oven on a long paddle, called a peel, and baked directly on the hot bricks or baked on a screen (a round metal grate, typically aluminum). When made at home, it can be baked on a pizza stone in a regular oven to reproduce the effect of a brick oven. Another option is grilled pizza, in which the crust is baked directly on a barbecue grill. Greek pizza, like Chicago-style pizza, is baked in a pan rather than directly on the bricks of the pizza oven. There are several rules to be obligatory followed for making a pizza. The dough should contain flour, natural yeast (brewer’s yeast allowed), salt and water. No kind of fat permitted. The diameter of pizza should not exceed 30 cm. The dough should be made by hands or by means of certified mixers preventing it from overheating. Pizza should be rolled out by hands only. All other methods including rolling-pin application are forbidden. Pizza should be baked in the immediate bottom of the oven. Neither frying pans nor baking trays permitted; the oven should be bricked and lined with fireproof materials similar to the volcanic rock. The oven should be burned with natural wood. The temperature in the oven should not be less than 400 °C. Pizza should be thoroughly baked but not over dried; its edges should be high, gentle but crispy at the same time. Pizza is an emerging fast food in Indian urban areas. American pizza chains Domino's Pizza and Pizza Hut opened their first outlets in India in 1996. Domestic pizza brands include Smokin' Joes and Pizza Corner. Pizza is probably the…

Little Caesars is a prominent pizza franchise and force to be reckoned with in the fast-food industry. One of the main reasons they achieved notoriety is because of their logo and brand name. The logo represents a man smiling and eating a piece of pizza, suggesting that the type of pizza he has decided to eat is tasty. Furthermore, the brand name has become a household name nationally as well as internationally. In turn, this makes the company a great adversary towards the other pizza franchises such Pizza Hut, Dominoes, and Papa Johns. According to reports, Little Caesars has maintained the recognition of being the “largest carry out pizza chain in the world” (Our Story | Little Caesars Pizza). Additionally, their…

Fern Hill By Dylan Thomas Now as I was young and easy under the apple boughs About the lilting house and happy as the grass was green, The night above the dingle starry, Time let me hail and climb Golden in the heydays of his eyes, And honoured among wagons I was prince of the apple towns And once below a time I lordly had the trees and leaves Trail with daisies and barley Down the rivers of the windfall light.…

There are specialties shops like UNO’s that prepare pizza “Chicago style” which is basically deep dish pizza and has a thicker crust. Deno/des I find the pizza to be doughy and personally I am not too fond of chunky tomatoes in my sauce. In my opinion it seems to fill the pizza more than anything else. Pizza hut and Dominos also provides a deep dish option made differently without the chunky tomato sauce that I find more appealing to my taste that is not Chicago style. While they all can be a family night out for dinner this can at times become routine and boring.…

To make my pizza, first I start by frying one pound of hamburger and one pound of Italian sausage per pizza. I put them both in a large pan, cook, and stir it on very low heat; I use a separate pan for each pizza. The low heat is so that it will crumble easier. I make the crust while that is cooking, but I stir the hamburger often. The smell of the meat fills the house and makes everyone's mouth water. To make the crust, I mix together three cups of Bisquick…
