F. CONCLUSION
As before we jump into conclusion, here will be described a list of entrepreneurial competencies owns by our chosen entrepreneur, Mr. Muhamad Yasin. The first entrepreneurial competency shows by him is initiative. Initiative means the ability to assess and initiate things independently or the power or opportunities to act and to take charge before others do. Mr. Yasin saw the opportunity, just like the people does. Yet what is making him difference and succeed is initiative value in him. He took action, do research, gain the knowledge, the capitals to make a good drinking tamarind-extract water and learn from mistakes and complaints from customers to keep upgrading the taste and quality of his products. He does not just wait for the time and opportunity to come, but he struggle to create the opportunity’s door. This is an excellent example to be copied and followed by all to succeed in everything and every field we involved.
The second entrepreneurial competency reflected by Mr. Yasin is persistence. Based from the dictionary definition, persistence is firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite difficulty or opposition. This value means the ability of a person or entrepreneur to endure hardness and problem faced running businesses and survive it even so challengeable. In Mr. Yasin’s case, he really had proved that persistence is within his very nucleus, his heart. He endure sad times for example, been cheated by three dealers that taken away his products but did not pay for it at all and disappear then.
He managed to handle flood tragedy in December last year, December 2014 that had ruined a lot of the products due to the sinking of them by flood, as well as the damaged tools and production machines too. After all those massive problems, he stand fast and brave, keep moving forward and settle them down one by one successfully till now. He does not complain and accept all the incidences as challenge which will make him stronger
