The companies I used for my observations are KFC and Boston Market. Both restaurants specialize in chicken meals but the two companies take very different approaches to gain the competitive advantage over the competition. KFC is most known for its fried chicken original and spicy Dark or light meat. Boston market is known for its Rotisserie style chicken original and spicy light or dark meat. They’re both easy on the wallet and have menu options for individual meals and family meals. The two companies are products are very similar in pricing. The two fast food restaurants are similar when it comes to customer service and store conditions, you will find that both companies place customer service in high regards, But the two companies show different store lay out styles. Boston Market lay out is very simple and seems and more for adults While KFC uses more colors and logos for their store lay outs. Boston market products seem to be more home style and health conscience meals. KFC Products are focused on convenience and are less health conscience because most of their products are fried, but in recent times KFC has added new menu items that are not fried but grilled and are also healthier options than what was offered in the past. For my decision I pick Boston Market for having the advantage because of its simple store lay out and its health conscience menu items and better drink selection. For me it’s not what products company sells but how the company sells its…

It is impossible to find an unorganized and unhygienic Chick-Fil-A. McDonald’s on the other hand is known for their cheap menu and wide range of availability globally. One of the main differences between these two places is menu options. McDonald’s serves breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, one can order hot cakes and sausage with orange juice to drink. The hotcakes are a common purchase for the early risers. Lunch and dinner selections include burgers, wraps, salads, chicken nuggets or chicken sandwiches, and even fish sandwiches. McDonald’s offers a wide selection of beverages. It has coca-cola products and specialty drinks from their McCafe line including lattes, iced coffees, smoothies and other frozen beverages. For those on a tight budget, there is the Dollar menu. It offers some of their favorite menu items and is a way for customers to fill up for less. Wendy’s, on the other hand, only operates for lunch and dinner. Their menu consists of burgers, salads, wraps, and chicken sandwiches. Although Wendy’s menu is much smaller, their customers have more options for side items. Whereas McDonald’s combos only come with fries, at Wendy’s customers can choose from fries, bacon and…

Mcdonald’s is better than Wendy’s. One of the reason that Mcd’s is better than Wendy’s is because it has more meals and snacks to choose from. For example, McDonald’s serves all sorts of desserts like pie, cookies, milkshakes, and ice cream sundaes. McDonald’s also has breakfast food such as pancakes, Muffins, and McGriddles. Wendy’s only serves food for lunch and dinner and the menu never changes.…

Fast Food Franchises have raised many questions or debates that have risen because of obesity issues and health concerns in our society to this day. This has led me to compare Burger King and McDonald’s. Comparison of these two companies to see exactly what they have to offer and the fact that people seem to look at all fast food the same. It is all bad for you and causing health issues. Before looking at the menus of both fast food chains, one has to understand the history. What made them who they are today? How was it created? When did it go public? The first restaurant is McDonald’s. In 1937, Patrick McDonald opened “The Airdome”, which was a food stand in Monrovia, California. Hamburgers were ten cents and all you can drink. In 1940, his two sons, Maurice and Richard, brought the food stand from their father and moved the entire operation 40 miles and changed the name to “McDonald’s Bar-B-Q” and served 25 barbecued items on their menu.…

McDonalds Corporation was founded in 1955 on a simple concept that allowed the company to focus on the quality. McDonalds featured a limited menu with just burgers, fries and beverages. The concept of establishing McDonalds Corporation was very simple; the owners set out to create a taste that would be the same regardless of the location. McDonald’s core principle was “quality, service, cleanliness, and value.” In order to ensure quality, McDonalds made sure that all of the ingredients that would be used would first be test, and then they would go through the taste process, and the items wouldn’t be perfected until there was the assurance that the item fitted McDonald’s operating system. McDonalds continued to grow rapidly over time. This included advancement to already famous burgers to creating breakfast items to join its menu, over time, the concept of which the business was founded has always remained the same. The principle in which McDonalds Corporation was founded is very clear.…

McDonald’s has a lot of combos, which have a hamburger, french fries and a soda. There is a wide variety of hamburgers and my favorite is the Quarter Pounder with Cheese. It is made of a quarter pound of meat cooked to the point and always crunchy at the edges, two slices of the most delicious and melted cheddar cheese and onions, obviously with ketchup and mustard; this hamburger does not come with mayonnaise. Another great thing from McDonald’s is their famous french fries, which everyone loves. They are crunchy yet soft inside and their taste is unique; no other restaurant has the same flavor. They are served very…
