Comparing Benjamin Franklin's Life And Work
Benjamin Franklin was one of America’s best-known historical authors, a founding father, and a famous inventor. Born in 1706, to a family of nineteen, Franklin learned to be independent while his parents were busy with the rest of his family. Franklin dropped out of school early in order to begin working at his father’s soap and candle making shop. After realizing his love for literature, Franklin decided to teach himself how to read and write through rewriting some of his favorite works.

Some of Franklin’s other works include: The Way to Wealth, Experiments and Observations on Electricity, and The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. Although Franklin used his talents to write various books of his own, one of his best uses of his talent was his involvement in creating the documents our nation is founded upon. Franklin was a respected and well-liked political figure and writer. Not only a powerful writer, Franklin was also a founding father and important political figure. Franklin played a crucial role in influencing the beginning years of The United States. One of Franklins most significant contributes to the country, as a founding father, was his help in drafting and signing The Declaration of Independence as well as the Constitution.
