North Korea vs. United States Two very different countries in concept of government, society, and economy. North Korea has huge differences in there government compared to the United States who has a democracy type of government, unlike North Korea who has a Dictatorship type of government. With different type military concepts, press and media, economy, and political parties. North Korea’s government is a communist states and one man dictatorship, meaning that only the government and National rule the people and make and interpret laws among the people. Property rights are not guaranteed. Almost all property belongs to the state. Modern judicial system doesn’t exist, forcing Corruption in government, security, and military. The ruling Workers’ Party, the Korean People’s Army, and members of the cabinet run companies that compete to earn foreign exchange and trade. They have military branches, North Korean People’s Army, Ground Forces, Air Force; civil security forces (2005). The people vote for their leaders to represent them like for governors, senate, and the president. Have a Capitalism type economy which means of production and distribution are privately or corporately owned and development is proportionate to the accumulation and reinvestment of profits gained in a free market. United Sates Military is voluntary giving people the right to choose to join the military or not. Two types of political parties democratic and republican, giving the general public ability to vote for the party they want to be represented by.
