Rikki-Tikki and Katniss wanted to save their families while Farah wanted to live a better life.
Rikki-Tikki-Tavi by Rudyard Kipling is a very good story. The excerpt is about a Mongoose who is determined to kill the three snakes in the garden and save his family. The author claims that Rikki-tikki is a very curious and brave creature. It is also very hard to frighten Rikki-Tikki because mongoose’s are “eaten up from noose to tail with curiosity.” According to Kipling, Rikki-Tikki wound up in “the middle of a garden path” when a high summer flood washed him out of the burrow that he lived in. He met two cobras, Nag and Nagaina, he knew he had to kill them for the safety of his family and friends. The father in the story was almost killed by Nag in the bathtub but Rikki-Tikki came to the rescue and killed Nag first.
