Compare And Contrast Christmas And Thanksgiving
Throughout the year there are several holidays. Toward the end of the year the public’s two favored holidays come around. Christmas and Thanksgiving is a time for everyone to make memories, but some enjoy one more than the other. Thanksgiving is a more widely enjoyed holiday than Christmas. Both holidays take place during different seasons causing different events to take place. Thanksgiving has the Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade. Where floats with famous characters and celebrities parade through Downtown New York. People are able to watch the show live or on the television. Christmas has the 25 days of Christmas television special. ABC family plays the 25 days of Christmas with movies. Some of the common movies presented is The Polar Express, Jack Frost and Elf. Thanksgiving takes place during the Fall, the weather is cool and breezy most of the time. The leaves start to fall and change colors. Some families play football together or make leaf piles. Christmas takes place during the Winter, the weather is cold and dry.
