Company background
U Mobile Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian 3G mobile telecommunicaions service provider and was founded in 1998 as MiTV Networks Sdn . In April 2007, U Television Sdn Bhd signed the country's first nationwide domestic roaming memorandum of understanding. After that, the company has been constantly providing high quality mobile voice and data services with its wide distribution network backed by affordable pricing strategies. Customers of U Mobile can choose from a variety of competitive prepaid, postpaid, high-speed mobile Internet plans and latest mobile devices to achieve a fully connected lifestyle anywhere and anytime. The headquarters of U mobile at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The chairman of U Mobile is Tan Sri Vincent Tan.

U Mobile have some Postpaid plan for the users which is Unlimited postpaid plan.For this plan is RM50 per month with an unlimited internet usage with internet speed 2 GB. Beside that, there are also have some advantage for the U mobile users which are have free call to the same users and charge only 5 cent per SMS to the U Mobile users, but to other user it charge 18 cents fro call and 12 cent per sms.
Other than this plan there are also have an Internet share plan which cause RM 68 per month. This plan details are 3GB data and free 2 sim card for the purchaser, then for the call and SMS is cost 0.30 cent per min and 0.12 per message.
There are also a contract plan for 36 months but cost RM498 per month. Which give u 15GB of internet data , 1200 mins of call and 1200 of SMS. This plan called U platinum.
Beside the postpaid plan, U mobile also have pepaid plan and some internet plan. The internet plan they have is RM 68 per month and free a 21Mbps MiFi Modem with 10GB quota. Their newest internet plan is RM88 per month and also free a 21Mbps MiFi Modem with 21 GB of quota but before sign the internet package the user need to pay RM 150 for activation process fees.
