When she talks about how I spent my senior years and how I ended up coming to Auburn University. Whenever she correct two parts, I believe “a story told” by me should turn out as what I

Though I get the main purpose of this essay, I don’t really think it has created an effect on me. Part of it is because I cannot relate to the character, another is that I know the narrator too well that I know what is going to happen. Everyone knows what is going to happen. Her personality is so set in stone that the room for interpretation is limited. We all know she is super anxious, worrisome, and over-protective from the way she talks to the audience, the way she thought of another woman over the screen, the way she rolls the stroller on the street. In addition, everything is so crystal clear and evident that there is no much need to go back and flip through the story once again to understand the underlining purpose. The ambiguity element is missing in this essay, thus makes this work less appealing and less effective on…

“Initiation into Adulthood” is a very basic essay and gave the impression that is was written by a less experienced writer. I felt the paper was boring and did not keep my attention while reading each short story. The most noticeable mistake was that the paper did a plot summary for each story and never provided a conclusion or a position in any of the stories. The checklist says to use present tense verbs and this story used mostly past tense. The…

Georgia State University was my destination the fall of 2005. I was a starting freshman for the class of 2009. Everything seemed to be going perfect because I had graduated high school with a high grade point average. I thought I was the ready for every class especially English 1101 because I felt that my former high school teachers had taught me everything I need for college, little did I know that I had no clue how to write like a good writer. I lacked the grammar skills I need in order to present the message I need to convey to my audience in my essays, I did not know how to have sentence variety, and last but not least I thought it was not an important thing to back up my statements with real examples. My first writing assignment grade proves that I had a lot to learn my freshman semester at Georgia State University.…
