College Admissions Essay: My Willpower
Choices. To make choices is the greatest scare life can give, and ironically, we are given choices more frequently than steps that we take. Throughout my life, the world has presented me with choices and decisions that had to be made, and my elections have led me here, to your doorstep. My fascination for knowledge placed me on a path that at times seemed futile and that devoured my energy. Many stops have been made and many tears might have escaped, however I remained steadfast and if there is something that needs recognition for my endurance, it is my willpower. This willpower is something I would appreciate to cultivate, to control and to empower even further, and I believe that ACN has the tools and the assets to allow me to bloom further and manifest my willpower.

However, I have faith that hard work goes hand in hand with social interactions and befriending new momentary strangers. I am willing to place the effort and reach ultimate result, and I have a desire that, at this point, seemingly can only be quenched by your college. Frothing for success, I view myself as an asset and a prominent potential contributor to your academic environment. Nevertheless, life is a marathon and not a sprint, therefore to dodge exhaustion, regular breaks and moments to smell the roses are greatly valued, hence another reason to why you are my most desired option. The fact that you place weight in Liberal Arts might allow me to reach out to other aspects of the academic horizon. Thus granting me a freedom to study art, literature and philosophy, at the same time keeping me on a path that can only lead me up the mountain of decisions we need to take to achieve the view we all have a wish for.
