Introduction:
Businesses in the modern days have been aggressive and optimistic with new strategies and plans to attain better profits. This paper will reflect on the effectiveness of better management of strategic resource and operations to create better profits and operation effectiveness.
The need to be proactive in terms of strategic decision making, expansion policies, logistic management and market entry strategies will affect the way the company earns profits.
“Today's highly complex business environment has made various vital operational objectives very clear. One would be new and better administrations are important for attaining better competitive and comparative environment, and two on concentrating on innovation to happen under asset constraints. It is very important for managers in numerous businesses to base their key and operational choices and plans on service innovations that take into consideration firm assets, practices and abilities to be seriously leveraged. There is a vital need to create innovation in the services and create strategic operational value in the way we do business.”
This report will compare and contrast the organisational abilities and effectiveness in creating leverage to attain better brand coverage and profits between the Companies APPLE and COFCO.
The use of technology has been a prime mover and leverage for companies to use them in their operational effectiveness. For instance the use of social media to ease the level of marketing they do or use internet to attract clients to have business with. The need to follow and regulate sustainable process is highly important to create better brand image and public corporate social responsibility decision.
Recently, the focus has changed towards developing frameworks, methodologies and artifacts with respect to sustainability. This could be followed back to a 1987 report by the UN's. Brundtland Commission, which characterized sustainable living as "advancement that helps the

    Strategic management can be used to determine an organization 's mission, vision, values, goals, objectives, roles and responsibilities, etc. Strategic planning is a management tool. As with any management tool, it is used to help an organization do a better job. It is used to focus its energy, to ensure that members of the organization are working toward common goals, to assess and fine-tune the organization 's direction in response to change. Essentially, strategic management is an effort to produce decisions and actions that guide what an organization is, what the organization does, and why it does it. Being strategic means being clear about the organization 's objectives, being aware of the organization 's resources, and incorporating both into being consciously responsive to a dynamic environment. The process is about planning because it involves intentionally setting goals (i.e., choosing a future) and developing an approach to achieving those goals. The process is disciplined and calls for a certain protocol to keep it focused. The process raises questions that help planners observe experience, test assumptions, gather information about the current situation, and anticipate the future environment. Finally, the strategic planning process is about fundamental decisions and actions because choices must be made in order to answer the sequence of questions mentioned above. The strategic plan is ultimately no more, and no less, than a set of decisions about what to do, why to do it, and how to do it. Because it is impossible to do everything that needs to be done in one day, strategic planning implies that some decisions and actions are more important than others. Much of the strategy depends on making the difficult decisions about what is most important to achieving success.
