Coca Cola
Who We are
Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines was established by The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines in November 1986, to demonstrate the long-term commitment of Coca-Cola to corporate citizenship in the Philippines.
The Foundation envisions “people from all walks of life working together to make a meaningful difference, building a better Philippines for generations to come”.
Its mission mirrors that of The Coca-Cola Company: To refresh the world. Inspire moments of optimism and happiness. Create value and make a difference.
Since it began operating in 1987, the Foundation has helped to provide hundreds of thousands of Filipinos with better opportunities in education and in improving their financial livelihood. It has provided emergency assistance during disasters and implemented various projects on environmental conservation.
The Foundation’s current programs are focused on enabling access to water in underprivileged communities, as well as providing education and development opportunities to Filipino youth.
Funding for projects in the Philippines is available only for sites that qualify to the Foundation’s Little Red Schoolhouse and Agos Hydraulic Ram Pump projects.

My partner and I founded a non-profit organization called GuyCambo several years ago – our objective is to create educational opportunities for the economically disadvantaged children here locally in Stockton, and in our respective countries of Guyana and Cambodia as well. We’re targeting the bottom half of poverty. The Khmer Rouge decimated the education infrastructure and there was nothing left. As a matter of fact, there is still no place for the undeserved children in Cambodia. As a result and extreme poverty, only the very few can afford a good education opportunity. I am bridging the gap for theses under privilege children. I am doing this right now but I want to be able to do this full time, which is why I am getting my education.…

While working for the Columbus Foundation Fellowship, my goal is to absorb as much knowledge as possible. I am confident I will learn how to interact with external stakeholders, donars and all individuals in regards to showing how their nonprofit is making an impact. This will teach me how to take an organization’s message and not only spread it among citizens, but instill a sense of urgency for their issues. I am also confident I will learn how to accept and internalize any professional feedback given to me. My passion lies with advocating for those voiceless citizens attempting to better themselves through education. I hope to one-day advocate for low-income students because they do not always received equal opportunities as others in education.…
