Advantages: ▪ Mommas would be more accessible to costumers since Global Hotel offers one stop online reservations. ▪ Greater operational efficiency by applying Global Hotel’s technology ▪ It will allow Mommas to enter related businesses, new geographic markets and gain new technological knowledge. ▪ Regular costumers of Global Hotel will have an idea on what Mommas is, and what it has to offer. ▪ Access to greater resources, including specialized customer support staff and technology
Disadvantages: ▪ Different management and information system styles can result in poor integration and co-operation. ▪ Since the I.S. used by Global is not designed specifically for Mommas, it may cause problems in the future. ▪ Costumers might find it confusing since they’re somehow used to the old system that Mommas had before. ▪ What’s good for a large company might not be the case for a small to medium sized business like Mommas.
