One classroom rule that is implemented in my classroom is the use of magnet moving. Each student has their own magnet that is moved up or down depending on how their behavior is that day. If a student does not follow directions, talks without raising their hand, or is disruptive in any way the student will have to move their magnet down. If a student shows excellent behavior the student will have opportunity’s to move his or her magnet up. Whens students get to the highest level on their magnet they can go the office and receive a prize. This gives the students a sense of accomplishment.
