Child Soldiers Inhumane
War violates every right of a child, right to life, right to be with family, and right to be respected. UNICEF conducted a survey by interviewing 1,505 children in Sarajgus Africa. It found that 97% of these children experienced shelling, 20% of them had terrible dreams, 55% of these children have been shot by snippers and 66% have had near death experience; this resource is published by “The State of The Worlds Children”. Although there's a lot of controversy on if the use of child soldiers is humane, many agree that its very wrong that people still use child soldiers today. And many agree that children aren't meant to experience these traumas, and they may suffer the rest of their lives from experiencing this at such a young age.

“Christian children's fund”, finds that many militant groups need child soldiers for many reasons. Children are very small and hard to detect, a lot of militant groups use them for spying and many other things. In the Iraq-Iran war they sent hundreds of children in waves over minefields and were told if they wouldn't then they would be shot. This violates many human rights and is inhumane in many ways. Children hit by mines have a very low chance of surviving. If it were and adult they have way higher chance of survival and may walk away with little injury or a lost limb. Children so young should be living out their lives safely at home with their families. Although these instances are very rare, they are still a serious problem today. Often times though children are used carry food, water, medical supplies, cook, clean or do many medical persedurs. In this way child soldiers could be beneficial in some areas where the adult population is severely demolished. Many countries don't have enough funding for vaccines which also contributes to a low populations. Sexual violence and abuse is very common in most countries. But many of these child soldiers are very venerable to these sexual situations. Rape at such a young age can cause mental and physical trauma the rest of their lives. 30% of child soldiers are girls. These girls are usually used for sexual purposes, and are very often used as commanders or leaders wives. In Rwanda rape has been used as a weapon to destroy community ties or are used to start conflict. These poor children are extremely venerable to these situations. Soldiers and marines have been extremely troubled that instead of weeding out pedophiles, the American military was arming them and in some cases they were placing them as commanders of villages. We also do very little to interfere with these situations. Not every country is as privileged as the United States, thus making sexual acts such as rape, forced marriage and molestation very common in these poverty filled
