Character Analysis Of Wife Of Bath In Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales
Canterbury Tales is about a man named Geoffrey Chaucer who’s going on an adventure to Canterbury with a group of people and Chaucer describes the people who they are, about them. The people are very interesting in many ways that I myself would never expect from people now or then so it’s very interesting to think of people and to think oh hey I’m sure there’s people like this now days. The way they dressed then is different it looks like they’re wearing leggings and the dresses with different pieces of material just randomly sewed onto it.
I liked the Wife of Bath because she’s interesting in so many ways there’s a lot about her such as she’s married to five men and she wore kerchiefs that people thought weighed about ten pounds
Her clothes seemed to be very expensive just by long at them and how nice they are and to wonder how she is getting all the young guys when she’s not all that good looking. It’s very interesting how she’s getting all these guys and she’s not attractive she’s got a gap, she’s older, she’s always wearing a weird hat and especially on Sundays the hats bigger than the one from the previous days of the week. I like that he’s sarcastic because sarcastic people make me laugh and he’s got such a sarcastic personality. It seems he likes to talk more about stars and what they and what he knows about them all the time. He plays the harp he sings a song about starts too like the man is just obsessed with stars and I have to agree stars are pretty cool and that’s why I like him because he likes stars
