In WIlliam Shakespeare's play “Romeo and Juliet” there is a tragic ending in which the two main characters Romeo and Juliet die. THere death is caused by the actions of their self. Romeo dies because he himself drinks poison knowingly and Juliet dies by stabbing herself willingly.
In “Romeo and Juliet” Romeo dies because of his choice to take poison. When Remos is at the toom looking at juliet and how she seems to be dead he says “Here’s to my love! [drinks] O true apothecary! He kneels down beside her, talks to her, and tells her that he is going to kill himself because he wishes to always be with her. If Romeo and been thinking straight he would have noticed and then realized she was actually alive. He says “Death, that hath sucked the honey of thy breath, Hath had no power yet upon thy beauty. Thou art not conquered. Beauty’s ensign yet Is crimson in thy lips and in thy cheeks, And death’s pale flag is not advanced there.” (5.3.100-105). Then he goes on to say “Why art thou yet so fair? Shall I believe That unsubstantial death is amorous, And that the lean abhorred monster keeps Thee here in dark to be his paramour?” (5.3.112-114). He obviously notices that something is off about her looking so not dead. But he isn’t thinking so of course he doesn’t realize that she is still alive. So he drinks a bottle of poison and slides to ground dead. Minutes later Juliet wakes up. She sees Romeo’s corpse and bursts into tears. Instead of fleeing with Friar Lawrence she chooses to kill herself because she cannot live without him. There is no poison left in the bottle or enough left on his lips, so she takes Romeo’s knife and stabs herself through the…

Although fate played some role in Romeo and Juliet's deaths, the various characters' decisions and actions throughout the story eventually led to the tragedy. In my opinion, the blame goes to the characters that supported and didn’t support Romeo and Juliet. Especially, Lord Capulet, Lady Capulet, Friar Lawrence, Nurse and fate. Juliet’s parents have an important role for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. As the mother of Juliet, Lady Capulet is meant to comfort Juliet. Instead of doing that, she abandons Juliet in the middle of suffering. Lord Capulet acted harsh when Juliet expressed her opinion over Paris. Both of Juliet’s parents deserted her in a challenging situation. Friar Lawrence tried to bring an end to the grudge between the two families by helping Romeo and Juliet get married. His advice to Juliet to deceive her parents and the solution he provided…

Who is to blame for the deaths of these two young adults? Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare ending with the deaths of two star-crossed lovers. Many events occur that lead to their deaths. Also, many characters have performed specific actions that push these two lovers closer towards their death. In my opinion I believe the Friar is most to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The Friar agrees to marry the two, he helps Juliet plan a fake death, and lastly Friar never informed Romeo.{{As the last sentence of your introduction, you need to address the prompt directly. Shakespeare once wrote in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet “The dashing rocks thy seasick weary bark!/Here’s to my love! [drinks] O true apothecary!/Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die” (V.III. 118-120). Directly after saying this, Romeo takes a poison and dies in hopes that he will spend the rest of eternity with the one he loves--Juliet. Both Romeo and Juliet commit suicide because Romeo thinks Juliet had died so he takes his life for her, then when Juliet wakes up she takes her own life because Romeo has died. How our two star-crossed lovers died was never in question, but who is most to blame for their deaths, is. Many say that there are other people in the play that are to blame for their deaths. Juliet faked her death using a plan given to her, that is why it is Friar Laurence’s fault that Romeo and Juliet both killed themselves, and he is the one to blame.…

I believe the people in Romeo and Juliet’s lives helped cause their death. One person who helps cause their death was Tybalt. I think he helped cause their death because if he would have stopped trying to fight Romeo, then Romeo wouldn’t have killed him. If Romeo wouldn’t of killed him, then Juliet’s parents wouldn’t of rushed her into marrying Paris, then she wouldn’t of came to Romeo’s father talking about killing herself. Friar Laurence also helped with their deaths because he is the one who gave Juliet the sleeping potion, which made Romeo think he was dead. These are the people I think helped cause Romeo and Juliet’s…

In my opinion, Shakespeare chose a tragic ending for his heroes in Romeo and Juliet to make the story interesting and to make it into something that the reader wouldn’t have expected to happen. Everyone would have expected Romeo and Juliet to have survived and lived happily ever after, but they both ended up dying. This makes the story special and different and leaves the reader shocked after reading the tragedy. I was also shocked when I read that Romeo and Juliet both die. I had expected them both to live happily. And also, Shakespeare wrote a tragedy and all the main characters in a tragedy die.…
