Education is what keeps the knowledge of today’s culture and technology moving forward. With a good education one can get very far in today's world. There are some people who decide not to get an education and regret it for the rest of their lives; however, some make out even better than they would have with a college degree. There a lot more options for somebody who went to college, but on the other hand there are everyday jobs, that keep the country going, that somebody needs to take. It is easier to get many jobs with a college degree, but there are other jobs where, whoever takes it, needs a different kind of training. Some people are more respected if they go to college, because they are thought to be more intelligent, even though this …show more content…
Some crucial jobs like doctors, and lawyers require a college degree, on the other hand there are jobs where college degree isn’t needed, but that doesn’t mean one shouldn’t have one. It is expensive; however, if one goes to college, for a job that pays a lot like a doctor, that person will be able to make that money within a matter of years. If one would rather not go to college, they should at least get some kind of education. One should know simple math and english at the least! There are very little jobs one can get without any college degree, what do people accomplish from not getting any education. Within one’s family one might be known as a failure, or a disappointment. Nobody will take somebody with no education seriously. Not to mention people meet some of their long time best friends in school. There would be no doctors, lawyers, architects, teachers, and many more. People would die of simple diseases because nobody would no how to cure the disease. If one knows they are not going into a job that requires a college degree than just go anyway, it isn’t going to hurt them. In fact those jobs that don’t need a degree it will help them get the job easier. The only negative side to college is the amount of money they have to pay to go. The cost won’t matter because it can be payed off from the job the person goes into. If there was no education we probably wouldn’t have even reached the Stone Age. In turn education is what keeps our society moving forward and not backwards, to a time where when one was to get sick with anything they would die, and in a civilization where nobody knows anything about their past, and don’t even no how to communicate with each
