The first plan of action Utiliscan Company need to take into consideration is the company performance reviews. The results from the survey indicate the performance reviews has not been completed in a timely manner or either not done at all. Performance evaluation is an integral part of performance management, employee development, and good human resource management. A Human Resource representative needs to facilitate an improved performance review process, which is part of the job’s due diligence. The best way to resolve the concerns of the employees is to implement a new performance review process. The performance review process is designed to focus on how the employee is performing his/her job to standard and it is a way for supervisors and employees to engage in sharing information and insight about annual performance. For current employees, there will be an annual and semiannual review of their performance. In studying my area category of scholarship, I have learned about a handful of systems that have perpetuated poverty on reservations and specifically in Yakama, and also the impact that the U.S. government has in increasing this poverty. In the Treaty of 1855, which lead to the creation of the Yakama Reservation, the U.S. government guaranteed the Yakama people with 1.3 million acres of their original 10.8 million acres that they lived on. The rest of the land was declared “ceced land” and was give nover to white settlers. This treaty had the largest influence on land and natural resource loss, both of which are necessary for flourishing in a kin-ordered society’s way of life. In 1922, the Bureau of Indian Affairs decided to move the Yakama…

We know karma to be a chain of causes and necessary consequences in the world of human actions. Karma is the urge we have of doing something based on our previous actions or behavior. I believe the world has negative and positive energy. For example; an individual soul consists of negative and positive energy, which for a normal person, is balanced out. Therefore, what goes around comes around. In life we choose whether to listen and act upon certain urges or ignore it. I do not believe karma predetermine our future. Karma is the reason why things occur in our lives, based on the actions we have done. Karma is not built upon a distinct action but the accumulation of our conduct and actions.…
