Both of the girls had arrived to their home after taken separate school buses home, and I think one of the girls were abducted outside and one was abducted inside the house. I believe this because one schoolbag was found in the yard and the other one was found in the house and the alarm to the house had been deactivated, meaning that at least one of the girls had entered the house and deactivated the alarm. I think this is what happened because of the locations of the schoolbags. I can´t determine which one of the girls was abducted in the yard and which one had been abducted in the house because the text doesn't say if it was Sylvia´s or Gretchen´s bag in the yard and vise versa. The text doesn't say either what time the two girls came home, assuming that they didn't come home at the exact same time because they took separate buses home, which is making it hard to see which one of the girls he abducted first, the one in the house or the one in the yard. Probably, he abducted the girl in the yard first while the other one was already in the house because otherwise I think the girl who made it into the house would have reacted on the bag lying in the yard if she came home later and walked into the house.…

Thus, this exposed information from these agencies now had people questioning their own sense of security and privacy. One could argue after this information had been revealed, intelligence and surveillance tactics serve to control and monitor the public without their knowledge. Bauman et al. (2014) discusses how the UN Human Rights Council began discussing this issue in 2013, stating that mass surveillance posed a threat to human rights and a loss of protection of freedom of speech. Certainly, the Snowden case destroyed any of the perceived notions the public had about the operations and practices of security (Bauman et al., 2014).…

Surveillance is key procedures in many cases, in this case however it was kind of a bust. The FBI were investigating every lead they had including putting potential suspects on twenty-four hour surveillance on the ground and in the air. None of their potential suspects were the actual bombers though so the surveillance turned out to be a huge waste of time, resources, and money. Surveillance can be a very boring procedure you can be setting around for hours waiting for the smallest thing to happen. The FBI launched its largest ever aerial fleet to circle over Boston in the hunt for the bomber. The advantages of having a bird in the sky are endless especially with the use of thermal imaging you can see people walking around in the shade or even…
