Cars Persuasive Speech
Our globe keeps evolving day by day. Imagine yourself having to walk miles and miles every single day to reach your destination! Would that be hard on you? Or would you be comfortable with the situation? Ferdinant Verbiest and Karl Benz invented cars to make people's lives much easier. In 1888 British citizens saw the first car on British roads , and by the year 2000 so many vehicles have appeared. Cars made transporting much faster and easier , but are they one hundred percent safe for the daily use? A study showed that the more cars on a street, the more pollution that occurs, because cars cannot work without specific chemical ingredients such as Gasoline. Scientists also discovered that Gasoline and other Petrol derivatives are harmful for our health and may cause vision loss, dizziness and poisoning! They might cause Global Warming also which is not only dangerous for humans , but also the environment. …show more content…
For example , we can walk or use bicycles if the destination isn't too far , if we do this, we will keep ourselves healthy and fit at the same time! We can use cars that use solar energy and electric cars, they are considered as cars but are less harmful than the normal ones. I also agree with the international laws that control car ownership and use, because by applying these laws; we will reduce crowds, accidents and different kinds of pollution. As I said before, if the number of cars increases , problems will increase too! We will save money and natural resources as well ,if we apply these laws

Cars are a fantastic invention. They make our lives more carefree by getting us from place to place quickly while abolishing the need for legs altogether. Instead of walking that 3 blocks to McDonalds, why not drive there? You get there faster and you can eat sooner. Driving has a lot of benefits. But driving also takes a lot of fuel, and everyone knows that fuel for cars isn’t the cheapest of resources.…

When signing up to be an organ donor you usually think only your major organs will be used; however, something as small as a ligament of yours is used in popular surgeries such as anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructions. When someone tears their ACL they usually have a choice to have an autograft, or use one of their own ligaments, but they can also choose to have an allograft, or take a cadaver’s ligament to repair it. Each has it’s advantages and disadvantages, but I personally think that the better option is the allograft because I think the advantages are better than using your own ligament from another part of your body. The advantages consist of faster operative time, less post-operative pain, and a faster recovery time.…

Attention Getter: I would like to start my presentation off by telling you all to ask yourselves a series of fairly straight forward questions. I want you to take a look at you’re, any hand and ask your selves “Who’s hand is this?” Do the same with your other hand, and now both legs and your arms if you would like. If I am not mistaking the answer to all your questions are mine right. They are your hands, legs, and arms. What I am trying to get through to you all today is that your body is your body and that a person should be able to profit of his or her own body if done in a safe and controlled way.…

PERSUASIVE SPEECH OUTLINE SAMPLE - MOTIVATED SEQUENCE PATTERN By Fui Oili (with modifications made by S. Pastor) TITLE: Vacation in Hawaii GENERAL PURPOSE: To persuade SPECIFIC PURPOSE (GOAL): To persuade my audience to choose to take a vacation to the neighbor islands before taking a vacation out of the state or country. GENERAL IDEA: Visitors come from all over the world to experience the beauty and adventure of Hawaii. However, many local residents haven’t had the opportunity to experience all that our islands have to offer. Instead of always travelling to the mainland for vacations, Hawaii residents should first experience the uniqueness of vacationing right here on a neighbor island. INTRODUCTION (Attention Step) I. (Attention getter): Over the PA system the agent announced the arrival of United flight 93 arriving from Los Angeles, California. I waited at the baggage claim entrance where I stood there holding my lei and sign with the names of the visitors I was to greet from their flight. As the people started to flow out of the doors I called out, “Mr. and Mrs. Robert Williams”, all the while thinking about what I was going to cook for dinner and wondering what my kids were doing. When the visitors finally arrived, I was quickly brought back to my reality as I greeted each one with a lei and I said, “Aloha, welcome to Kauai.” With excited smiles on their faces they thanked me and told me how excited they were to be in Hawaii and how they couldn’t wait to start their vacation. The thing that really hit me was when they said, “You are so lucky you live in Hawaii!” Immediately I was reminded of how true that statement is. It’s ironic that it took a visitor from another part of the world to remind me that yes, Hawaii is an amazing place to explore, even for those of us who already live here. (Reveal Topic): This morning, I’d like to encourage all of you to seriously consider taking your next vacation on any of our Hawaiian islands instead of travelling out of…

In recent years we have seen gas prices drop to lows we have not seen in a decade but they will not stay that way forever and we need to be proactive to keep them low. An average person in 2016 may think they have little influence on the price of gas although they are wrong. Any motorist or driver on the road can take measures to save themselves money at the gas pump and help keep prices low. One of the best ways to do this is to make carpooling a common practice and implement it on a weekly basis.…

Is the future of America, specifically young adults, in jeopardy due to the spiraling costs of higher education and associated student loans? All signs point to a crisis in financial aid due to a drop in the availability of jobs, without jobs student loans cannot be paid off in a reasonable time frame or not at all. Therefore, public state universities must be tuition free for in-state residents in order to benefit both the student and the state ,improve the global economy, and most importantly eliminate the enormous debt incurred by young adults attending universities.…
